Benefiting from the broad recognition acquired throughout North America, the company diversified somewhat through the introduction of various auxiliary systems including dryers, hydraulic lifts, door opening equipment and the like.

In keeping with its innovative history, in the late 90's Washtronics embarked upon an extensive research and development project focused upon the design and improvement of a series of highly advanced Frictionless Fleet Vehicle Wash Systems. The designs are patented, and remain the only fully automated/guided vehicle wash systems in the world. The technology uses an infrared guidance system to locate and maintain optimal distances from vehicle surfaces, including front and rear exposures. Available in both our Gantry, as well as Drive-Through systems, the profiling, transverse boom design produces superior wash results, regardless of the shape of the vehicle.
