EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION

The Washtronics DT Frictionless Drive-Through Wash Systems are stationary, fully automated drive-through designs that employ a series of arches to apply chemicals and water at prescribed volumes and pressures. The Washtronics system, however, far exceeds the capabilities of conventional equipment through the addition of the Washtronics Automated Rear Door Polisher (WARP) module. The WARP module incorporates a transverse boom assembly that descends along the front and rear of the vehicle while firing multiple jets of high impact spray directly at the surface. Using this technology, the WARP Drive is the only system in the industry capable of properly cleaning rear doors, thus ensuring the complete satisfaction of our customers. The system is highly adaptive, available in either Frictionless or Rotating Brush configurations to accommodate a variety of applications, and is particularly well suited to high volume fleet applications that require express wash capability.

COMPONENT DESCRIPTIONS

PreSoak Detergent Application System - Consists of two arches located at the entrance to the wash bay. Designed for 2-Step application at service water pressure using Washtronics' patented chemical blending module.

High Impact Wash/Rinse; Side Exposures - Side exposures are addressed by a series of rotating spinner heads positioned along each of the vertical towers

High Impact Wash/Rinse; Front and Rear Exposures - Four rotating spinner heads are mounted on a transverse boom assembly that ascends/descends and oscillates to properly address front, upper and rear exposures.

Final Rinse - Located at the exit from the wash bay. Can be configured to use rinse agents, wax or reverse osmosis water.

High Impact Pump - One only high impact pumping station is provided to feed the spinner arrays.

Control System - Control systems are PLC based, expandable and fully automated with integrated self-diagnostics, fail-safe protection and recovery modes.

Wheel Guide Rails - 6" diameter painted steel with inlet sections.
